Betsy Berry (2021)

イギリスで生まれ、
世界中にファンをもつLIBERTY FABRICSの
プリント生地を使ったカバーです。
ことしはバタフライストッパータイプでつくりました。

「Betsy Berry」は、
1930年代半ばのリバティプリントをベースにした、
典型的なリバティのデザイン。
ピンクやブルー、グリーンなどで彩色された
細い線で描かれた花とベリーに
どこかなつかしさを感じさせる、かわいらしい柄です。

表の生地は、LIBERTY FABRICSが独自に開発した、
シルクのような手ざわりの綿素材「タナローン」。
ずっとさわっていたくなる、さらりとした感触が魅力です。

内側には、コットンのような
やわらかな素材を使っています。

※こちらのカバーは構造上、180度カバーを開いたときに、
背の部分に布地のたるみが出ることがあります。

This cover is made from a beautiful textile from the venerable fabric brand Liberty Fabrics.

Betsy Berry is a classic Liberty design based on a Liberty print first created in the late 1930’s. Delicately illustrated flowers and berries are painted in pink, blue, and green for a cute design that evokes a sense of nostalgia.

The cover interior uses a soft material that almost feels like cotton.

This cover is made with Liberty Fabric’s own "Tana Lawn" material, a meticulously processed cotton fabric with a soft, silken feel that offers prints in vibrant colors.

*Due to the construction of the cover, the material along the spine may become slack when the cover is opened flat.
