Flower Lace (2019)

大ぶりの花が咲きほこる
繊細な白いレースを全面にあしらった、
とっておきの手帳カバーをつくりました。

そのルーツは紀元前にまで
さかのぼるといわれるレース。
数え切れないほどの種類がありますが、
せっかくの機会ですから、
創業80年を超えるレースのメーカーがつくった、
いかにもレースらしいデザインのものを選びました。
ナチュラルな麻の生地の上に、
立体感あるレースを重ねています。

満開の花と葉が重なりあうデザイン。
エレガントな雰囲気ではありますが、
ベースとなる地がざっくりとした麻なので
毎日持ち歩ける軽やかさも兼ねそなえています。

しおりひも、しおりの先のチャームも、
手帳カバーの雰囲気に合わせて
まるくてかわいらしいものにしました。

いちばん気に入っている
たいせつな洋服を着たときに、
自然と背筋がのびる感覚。
毎日手元にある手帳にも
それと同じ気持ちを持てたら、
日々をより新鮮に、ていねいに
すごすことができるかもしれません。

This cover dresses your techo book in its Sunday best! The surface is adorned with detailed floral lace in white.

The roots of lace are thought to reach all the way back into pre-era BC. There are countless numbers of styles, so we wanted to take advantage of this special opportunity and pick out a quintessential design by a lace maker with over 80 years of history. The cover is made by overlaying a natural linen material with a separate layer of lace.

The lace design features large blooming flowers and leaves for an elegant look that’s still comfortable to carry around thanks to the basic linen fabric serving as a base underneath.

The bookmarks and charms are round and cute to match the look of the cover exterior.
